Terusa Wallet – Terusa Inc.

This Compliance, AML & KYC Policy (“Policy”) governs the regulatory and compliance framework applicable to the Terusa Wallet platform and its related services, operated by Terusa Inc., a Florida corporation (“Terusa”, “we”, “us”, or “the Company”).

By accessing or using Terusa Wallet, you acknowledge and agree to the regulatory structure and compliance principles described below.


1. Nature of the Platform

Terusa Wallet is a technology platform operating strictly as a non-custodial digital wallet provider. Terusa does not store, hold, manage, control, or have access to user funds, private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or digital assets.

Users maintain full control and ownership of their digital assets at all times. Responsibility for the safekeeping of cryptographic credentials rests solely with the user.


2. Regulatory Status

Terusa Inc. operates under FinCEN guidance as a non-custodial wallet technology provider and does not act as:

  • A money services business (MSB)
  • A money transmitter
  • A bank or financial institution
  • A broker or dealer
  • A securities issuer or investment advisor

Terusa does not engage in the custody, transmission, or exchange of fiat or digital assets as a principal or intermediary.


3. AML & KYC Responsibility

Terusa does not directly perform Know Your Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures on its users.

All regulated activities, including but not limited to:

  • Fiat-to-crypto transactions
  • Crypto-to-fiat transactions
  • Identity verification
  • Sanctions screening
  • Transaction monitoring

are conducted exclusively by licensed and regulated third-party service providers integrated into the Terusa Wallet platform. These providers operate under their own compliance frameworks and in accordance with applicable regulations, including but not limited to FinCEN, FATF, and international AML standards.

Terusa does not collect, store, process, or retain KYC data.


4. Third-Party Service Providers

Terusa partners with licensed third-party providers to facilitate regulated financial services. These entities are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with local and international regulatory requirements
  • Execution of AML and KYC checks
  • Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity
  • Processing regulated transactions

Terusa disclaims any responsibility or liability for the compliance practices, decisions, or actions of third-party providers.


5. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from using Terusa Wallet for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Money laundering
  • Terrorist financing
  • Fraud or identity theft
  • Sanctions evasion
  • Illicit trade or prohibited goods/services
  • Any activity in violation of applicable local or international law

Terusa reserves the right to restrict access to individuals or jurisdictions deemed high-risk or subject to sanctions.


6. Token & Asset Compliance Disclaimer

Any digital tokens associated with the Terusa ecosystem, including but not limited to the TERUSA token, are not intended to be securities, investment contracts, or regulated financial instruments.

No promises of profit, yield, or appreciation are made or implied. Participation in any token-related activity is undertaken at the user’s own risk.


7. User Responsibility

Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations within their jurisdiction when using Terusa Wallet.

Users are solely responsible for determining whether the use of the platform is lawful in their respective jurisdictions.


8. Data Protection & Privacy

While Terusa does not collect KYC data, it may collect limited technical data necessary for platform functionality. Such data is governed by the Terusa Privacy Policy, available on the official website.


9. Jurisdictional Limitations

The availability and functionality of Terusa Wallet may be restricted in certain countries or regions due to regulatory limitations. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws.


10. Limitation of Liability

Terusa Inc. shall not be held liable for damages or losses arising from:

  • User misconduct
  • Loss of access credentials
  • Third-party compliance failures
  • Regulatory enforcement actions
  • Blockchain network issues
  • Market volatility

Use of the platform is at the user’s sole risk.


11. Amendments

Terusa reserves the right to update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
