This Compliance, AML & KYC Policy (“Policy”) describes the compliance structure applicable to Terusa Wallet, a non-custodial wallet software operated by Terusa, Inc., a Florida limited liability company (“Terusa,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”).

By accessing or using Terusa Wallet, you acknowledge and agree to the compliance principles outlined below.


1. Nature of the Platform (Non-Custodial)

Terusa Wallet operates strictly as a non-custodial wallet software platform.

  • Terusa does not store, hold, manage, control, or access:

    • User funds

    • Private keys

    • Seed phrases

    • Passwords

    • Digital assets

  • Users retain full ownership and control of their digital assets at all times.

Responsibility for safeguarding cryptographic credentials rests solely with the user.


2. Regulatory Position

Terusa operates as a technology provider and does not act as:

  • A money services business (MSB)

  • A money transmitter

  • A bank or financial institution

  • A broker, dealer, or investment advisor

  • A securities issuer

Terusa does not custody, transmit, exchange, or intermediate fiat or digital assets.


3. AML & KYC Responsibility

Terusa does not directly perform:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC)

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

  • Sanctions screening

  • Transaction monitoring

All regulated activities, including but not limited to:

  • Fiat-to-crypto transactions

  • Crypto-to-fiat transactions

  • Identity verification

  • Compliance monitoring

are conducted exclusively by licensed third-party service providers integrated into the Terusa Wallet platform.

These providers operate under their own compliance frameworks and applicable regulations in their respective jurisdictions.

👉 Terusa does not collect, store, process, or retain KYC or AML data.


4. Third-Party Service Providers

Terusa integrates with independent third-party providers to facilitate regulated services.

Such providers are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Execution of AML and KYC procedures

  • Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity

  • Processing regulated transactions

Terusa disclaims responsibility for the compliance practices, decisions, or actions of third-party providers.


5. Prohibited Use

Users are prohibited from using Terusa Wallet for unlawful activities, including but not limited to:

  • Money laundering

  • Terrorist financing

  • Fraud or identity theft

  • Sanctions evasion

  • Illicit trade or prohibited goods or services

Terusa reserves the right to restrict or suspend access where required by law or applicable sanctions regimes.


6. Token & Asset Disclaimer

Any reference to digital tokens within the Terusa ecosystem, including the TERUSA (TER) token, is provided for informational or utility purposes only.

  • Tokens are not intended to be securities, investment contracts, or regulated financial instruments

  • No promise of profit, yield, or appreciation is made or implied

Users acknowledge that digital assets involve inherent risks, including volatility and potential loss.


7. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Complying with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction

  • Determining whether use of the Service is lawful where they reside

Terusa does not provide legal or regulatory advice regarding jurisdictional compliance.


8. Data Protection & Privacy

Terusa may process limited technical data necessary for platform functionality.

All data handling practices are governed by the Terusa Privacy Policy, available on https://terusa.net.


9. Jurisdictional Availability

The availability of Terusa Wallet may vary by country or region due to regulatory considerations.

Users are responsible for ensuring that use of the Service complies with local laws.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terusa shall not be liable for losses arising from:

  • User misconduct or negligence

  • Loss of private keys or credentials

  • Third-party compliance or service failures

  • Regulatory actions affecting third-party providers

  • Blockchain network issues or congestion

  • Market volatility

Use of Terusa Wallet is at the user’s own risk.


11. Amendments

Terusa may update this Policy at any time.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revised version.
